Sunday School Parents!

Thank you for being a part of the Sunday School program and recognizing the importance of an Islamic education for your children! Below you will find what all is covered in class along with class expectations for students, parents, and the teacher. Things to look forward to...

Hajj- We will be re-enacting the Holy Pilgrimage of Hajj!

This will consist of the students building their own Ka'bah, along with the cities of Arafat, Mina, Muzdalifah, and stoning of the Jamarats. They will also be strictly following the many rituals of Hajj!

Classroom Objectives

-Students will be able to recite each prayer with meaning accurately.

-Students will read and discuss the translation of the Quran.
-Students will learn about the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).
-Students will learn about the multiple Prophets (p.b.u.T) in Islam along with a basic lineage.
-Students will learn, know, and analyze details for each of the five pillars of Islam.
-Students will learn Islamic etiquette and manners.
-Students will adapt critical thinking skills in order to function as strong and confident individuals and Muslims.
